The way we shop has altered significantly in the past 12 months (thanks COVID!), although it's not all bad.  Our small independent retailers have proven to be little nuggets of happiness going above and beyond to provide their customers with amazing customer service. (you only have to follow Nancy at Gerrards Instagram account to mention one example), encouraging us to shop local and support these businesses.

Of course, with lockdown restrictions, many of us are turning to the Internet to get our retail therapy fix like never before and because of this its never been so important for smaller businesses to stand out from the retail giants and restaurants that already command so much of the footfall.
